Here's how to install it
1 Open HabiTick in Safari
Go to app.habitick.app in Safari specifically. Has to be Safari — Chrome and other browsers on iOS can't do this, it's an Apple restriction, not me being awkward.
2 Tap the Share icon
At the bottom of the screen, tap the square with the arrow pointing up.
3 Tap "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down a bit on the share sheet, you'll see it. Tap it.
4 Confirm and you're done
Name it whatever, tap Add. HabiTick's now on your home screen like any other app — full screen, its own icon, no Safari bar in the way.
Is it actually the same as a real app?
Pretty much, yeah. Once it's added this way it opens full screen, works offline for anything you've already loaded, and updates itself in the background — no faffing with manual updates.
Will HabiTick ever be a proper App Store app?
Yeah, that's the plan. I just didn't want to spend $100 straight away when the web version already does everything the App Store version would. Once it makes sense, I'll get it listed properly but, for now, the Safari install genuinely isn't a downgrade - that's the beauty of web apps.
